They weren't famous. They weren't looking for attention. But when faced with injustice, they said yes to God - fully, fearlessly, and with everything on the line. This is a story of presence over passivity, trust over fear, and a kind of faith that actually costs something.

What might it look like to follow Jesus that way?

"The Christian way is different: Christ says, "Give me all. I don't want so much of your time and so much of your money and so much of your work: I want you."
- C.S. Lewis

Why This Film Exists

We read about, and learn from, saints, martyrs, and Christian witnesses of the past, but meeting believers who walk that path now affects us differently. When we see ordinary men and women living what we once thought unreachable, something shifts. Sanctity no longer feels like legend, it becomes an invitation. Throughout history, those most conformed to Christ were rarely comfortable or widely applauded. This film listens to such people in our time and asks what the Lord might be teaching the Church through their lives.

But this isn’t just about them. As Christians, and I include myself, we aren’t always living as if we’re truly convicted. And even when we think we are, we have to ask: what are we actually doing to serve God and our neighbor? If our hearts are convicted, our lives should show it. I made this film because I needed that challenge too. I hope the love and courage of these witnesses inspires all of us to love God more through our actions - and to become truly convicted.

Note: We don’t canonize strategies; we seek sanctity. The point is not to imitate methods but to learn from surrendered hearts.

What the film is (and isn’t)

THIS IS

  • A spiritual study of costly obedience.

  • Conversations with believers who risk comfort, and in some cases freedom, because of conscience before Christ.

  • An invitation to prayer, discernment, and concrete love.

THIS IS NOT

  • A political campaign or legal brief.

  • A call to copy tactics or idolize individuals.

  • A polished studio film. It’s simple, present, and unvarnished.

A SPIRITUAL STUDY IN COSTLY DISCIPLESHIP

What can today's witnesses teach us about following Jesus - whatever the cost?

Told through a family’s journey of questions and trust, No Greater Love listens to believers whose obedience is costly. With no budget and no guarantees, we traveled in faith, meeting these witnesses across different Christian traditions and relying on God’s providence at every turn. Our story is a frame; the focus is on them, and on Christ.

NOTES

Presence over polish; this is a simple, on-the-road YouTube style documentary captured with minimal gear. We don't have a big production budget and crew - just a desire to grow spiritually.

Content note: grief, trial, and incarceration are discussed (no graphic content). Suitable for middle-school and up at parental or pastoral discretion.

Who the witnesses are

(and why it matters)

Ordinary believers who sense a call to love the most vulnerable. Some pray outside abortion centers. Others take part in nonviolent rescues - peacefully intervening and accepting arrest as a cost of conscience.

  • Motive: obedience to Jesus and love for mothers, fathers, and children.

  • Method: prayer, persuasion, practical support; for some, nonviolent rescue that carries legal consequences.

  • Cost: reputation, livelihood, and sometimes freedom.

  • Invitation: examine our own response to God's calling in light of the Gospel.

FAQ

  • The Rescuers are men and women who have peacefully entered abortion facilities to block access in an effort to defend the unborn and reach women considering abortion. Many have been arrested, prosecuted, and imprisoned under the FACE Act for their actions.

  • Our goal is not to tell you whether to support their actions or not—that decision is yours to make.

Rather, we believe their actions serve as a powerful case study that raises important moral and spiritual questions. Mainstream Christianity should be able to engage with challenging topics like this without fear of being "canceled." These stories challenge us all to reflect on our own convictions and how we respond to the injustice of abortion.

  • The FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act) is a federal law that prohibits obstructing access to abortion facilities. The Rescuers have been prosecuted under this law for their peaceful sit-ins and blockades, resulting in significant legal consequences.

  • Jesus often used bold and even shocking examples to challenge people's assumptions about faith and moral duty. The lives of saints and martyrs confront us in the same way—forcing us to wrestle with what true obedience to God looks like.

Likewise, the Rescuers’ actions disrupt complacency and push us to ask hard questions: Do we fully trust God? Are we doing enough to confront injustice? Whether we agree with their approach or not, their sacrifice compels us to examine our own response and consider how we can be more faithful in defending the innocent.

  • There are many ways to take action, including prayer, sidewalk counseling, supporting pregnancy resource centers, legal advocacy, and spreading awareness. Our goal is to encourage reflection and meaningful engagement, no matter what role you feel called to take.

  • Many of the Rescuers and their families face financial and emotional hardship due to legal battles and imprisonment. You can support them through prayer, donations, or by sharing their stories to raise awareness.

  • The episodes will be released on our website and YouTube. We have faced heavy censorship for talking about this topic, and the only way we can guarantee you'll stay updated is by subscribing to our newsletter and our YouTube channel.
