How one Encounter Sparked an idea
No Greater Love began with a simple encounter outside an abortion facility.
Our friend William met a man named Kevin who carried a photo album filled with pictures of children whose mothers he had helped choose life. These weren’t statistics or abstract arguments. They were children who were alive because someone had been present when their families needed him.
As a filmmaker, I knew Kevin’s story deserved to be told. But once filming began, a larger question emerged:
What does it look like for ordinary Christians to live as though the Gospel is actually true?
That question eventually led our family across the country to meet men and women whose faith had carried consequences they could not control. Some had lost comfort, reputation or freedom. Their choices were often controversial, but beneath the public actions we encountered something quieter: lives shaped over time by prayer, suffering and surrender.
Along the way, our own family passed through fear, grief and unexpected new life. The people we met did not give us easy answers. Instead, their witness turned the questions back toward us.
No Greater Love is our attempt to listen carefully, to the witnesses, to one another and to what God may be asking of us.

I came to filmmaking by way of mathematics and political science, fields that taught me to look for patterns, test assumptions and keep asking what lies beneath the surface.
For years, I have helped people and organizations uncover the deeper story inside real lives. No Greater Love made that work personal. Instead of observing someone else’s journey from a comfortable distance, I found myself asking what these stories demanded of me as a Christian, husband and father.
I direct, film and edit the project, usually with a small amount of equipment, a car full of children and considerably more questions than answers.

She helps shape the family’s perspective within the film, captures moments behind the scenes and brings an instinct for rhythm, honesty and emotional truth to the project. More importantly, she keeps its largest questions connected to the ordinary realities of family life.
Together, we are learning that faith is rarely lived in dramatic moments alone. More often, it takes shape through interrupted plans, unseen sacrifices, children in the back seat and the repeated decision to trust God without knowing how the story will end.
